First steps: getting started with TasKey
Just got a user? In five minutes you'll know how to log in, where your leads are, and how to handle a lead from the first call until it closes. A short guide you can send to every new user.
Got a username and password - from your manager, your marketing partner or from us? Great. There's nothing to set up: the system is ready, and all that's left is to log in and start working. This guide walks you through your first day.
About the screenshots: The screenshots show the Hebrew interface. Button and menu names are given in English, with the Hebrew label in parentheses so you can spot them on screen.
1. Log in
- Open the link to your system that you received, for example
yourcompany.taskey.co.il. - Enter your username and password and click Log in (התחברות). You log in with your username, not your email.

Worth doing now: Save the system as an icon on your phone's home screen or in your browser's favorites - here's how. Forgot your password? Reset it yourself in a minute.
2. The main screen: your leads
After you log in, the leads table opens. Each row is a potential customer:
- Name and phone - the green icon next to the phone opens a WhatsApp chat with the lead.
- Comments (תגובות) - what was written in the last conversation.
- Status (סטטוס) - where the lead is in the process: new lead, no answer, meeting set, closed...
- Follow-up date (ת. חזרה) - when to get back to them. "Today 16:30" means they're waiting for you today.
- Lead source (מקור הגעה) - where they came from: Facebook, Google, the website...

A new lead shows up in the table right away, and if your manager set it up, you also get a WhatsApp notification. More about notifications: Notifications.
3. Where to start every morning
The top bar has shortcuts to the stages of your process, for example New (חדשים) and Follow-ups (המשכי טיפול). The red number shows how many leads are waiting in each one.

A simple routine:
- New - leads nobody has talked to yet. Call them first; a lead you get back to quickly closes far more often.
- Follow-ups - leads you've already started working on that are waiting for the next step.
- Leads with today's follow-up date - in the leads table, everyone marked "Today".
4. Work a lead
Click the lead's name. The lead card opens, with everything you need:
- At the top - the phone number, with a WhatsApp button.
- On the side - the lead's details, where they came from and who their rep is.
- In the middle - everything written about them so far, newest first.

After every call - three things, in one place:
- Write in the box what happened on the call.
- Update the status (for example from "New lead" to "Follow-up").
- Set a follow-up date - when to get back to them.
Then click Save comment (שמירת תגובה).

The golden rule Every lead that's still in progress needs a follow-up date. That way no lead is forgotten: it will be waiting for you exactly on the day you set. More about the card: The lead card.
5. Add a lead yourself
Got an enquiry by phone or a referral from a friend? In the leads table click New lead (ליד חדש), fill in the customer name and phone, choose the lead sources and click Add lead (הוספת ליד). You can set a follow-up date right away too.

6. On your phone
TasKey also works in your phone's browser. Each lead appears as a card, with a call button and a WhatsApp button, so you can handle leads outside the office too. There's also an Android app.
